On Wednesday, Denver-based musician Kiltro is shooting over Lost Lake. Kiltro is a experimental-Latin-folk artist who, after living in Chile and London, today calls Denver house. Chris Castillo’s (aka Kiltro) sound is amazing and incredibly melodic. Before this year, Castillo dropped his very first “Ofelia” that is available on Spotify today and acts as a few excellent recommended listening. To wrap up this Sunday, Colorado’s DeVotchKa is shooting over The Bluebird Theater. Since 2000, DeVotchKa has done nearly everything in the Colorado music scene. From scoring the 2016 run of Sweeny Todd at the Denver Performing Arts Center to scoring the soundtrack to your 2006 movie Little Miss Sunshine — that this band can do anything. If you’re unfamiliar with their diverse sound, have a look at their 2018 launch of This Night Falls Forever. Fellow artist The Sweet Lillies is joining DeVotchKa on Sunday night, making this a perfect way to finish the week. Besides their Sunday series, DeVotchKa is carrying on The Bluebird on Monday night too.
