To kick this week’s concert schedule away, we’ve got a modern day boy group coming into Denver. On Monday, 4th Ave is taking over Larimer Lounge and bringing their own b-boy chops together. Late last season, 4th Ave released their new EP Winter Break which includes five pop-oriented tracks to get you prepared for their performance. Fellow artists Elle Winter along with Aja 9 are joining 4th Ave since they make their way into Denver this past week.

On Wednesday night, Bar Standard is hosting the electro-indie group STRFKR as part of their weekly STEAM Wednesday showcase. STRFKR’s sound is a brilliant mixture of electronic and indie music that simply puts you in the mood to dance. If you’re looking for some killer local talent to check out this week, this will be the show to see. On Thursday, local singer-songwriter Emilie Brandt is taking over Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. Brandt is one of Colorado’s up-and-coming talents to keep your eye on as her talents can speak for themselves on tracks such as “Found the Feeling” and “Grey. ” If you haven’t checked out one of Brandt’s shows, this will be the perfect chance to check her out. Fellow artists PHIE and Alden Groves are on the line-up for Thursday night as well.

On Saturday night, the most soft-rockers of Los Stellarians are carrying on the Bluebird. Los Stellarians are one of those bands whose music just makes you dancing with a grin on your head. Los Stellarians welcomed 2019 together using the launch of their new album Rucaz n Rolaz which features 10 new tracks to get familiar with until their show at Saturday night. Fellow artists HR People and Lola Rising are joining Los Stellarians on their Denver stop producing this type of show that you won’t want to miss this week.

To finish things off this Sunday, emo-rock band Bayside is taking over a sold-out Marquis Theater for an acoustic show. Bayside’s career started back in 2004 with their debut launch of Sirens And Condolences and lasted on through the decade to 2018. If you’d like some recommended listening, check out “It Doesn’t Exist” or “Devotion And Desire” for starters. Fellow band Golds is joining Bayside at The Marquis this past week.
