The band had canceled a May concert date after showing that frontman Mick Jagger required medical treatment for an undisclosed condition.

“We are delighted to announce the new U.S. and Canada tour dates today! ” the Stones announced Thursday of the North America tour called “No Filter. ”

All the cities in the shows are locked in, beginning at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 21st and adding a completely new date in New Orleans.

Tickets sold for the original date will be honored – fans do not need to exchange their tickets, the group declared.

Those who cannot attend the date can refund their tickets by obtaining their Ticketmaster account. For tickets, the refund will go to the fan who originally purchased the tickets, once they’ve been transferred back.

Jagger had apologized to the Stones’ Facebook page: “I’m sorry to all of our fans in America and Canada with tickets, I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on the road when I can. Once more, huge apologies to everybody. ”

According to the band, doctors told Jagger that “he can’t go on tour at this moment, as he needs treatment. ”

The 75-year-old rocker has now apparently ready to meet the needs of a 17-stop tour in Canada and the U.S.

The last time the Stones’ played in Colorado was Thanksgiving night of 2005 when they played in the Pepsi Center. And it was the group ’s first stadium concert in Denver since the “Voodoo Lounge” tour rolled into the old Mile High Stadium on Sept. 15, 1994. The Stones also played in Denver in 1999 and 2003, but those were arena dates.
