The Portland Trail Blazers can’t stop Nikola Jokic. A microphone, however…

In four games against the Trail Blazers, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has averaged 26.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 9.5 assists. But “Big Honey” met his match after the game against a microphone.

During the postgame interview Sunday, Denver’s 7-foot superstar had difficulty pulling out a microphone from its stand. After a short struggle, Jokic ripped the microphone out, but also detached it from its wiring. What resulted was a bewildered look of confusion.

It’s not the first time he’s struggled with the recording tool. In April, at the conclusion of an interview, the mic he was using was refusing to cooperate as he tried to place it back on its stand. Ultimately, he surrendered, uttering a phrase we will not repeat here.

A few days later, however, it was the Joker who came out on top.

For those scoring at home, that’s microphone 2, Jokic 1.
