Review – Twenty One Pilots Gave Denver a Priceless Night at The Pepsi Center

As fans of musical artists, we have a tendency to relish viewing. Being a popular chart-topping title in the audio business is a lucrative place and as soon as you have this, there comes a challenge in developing it. At any time, the thing can replaces the fame enjoyed by a artist or just not continue to its own popularity — which is why concerts can be special. On the hand of the concert goer, there s always a possibility they’ll never get to see their favourite artist in activity. This might be their very last tour. So, when every show is performed by performers as if it were their last one, it requires an experience that is priceless. Ohio-based duo Twenty One Pilots gave Denver only that — a priceless encounter at The Pepsi Center on November 19.

Following the lights cutleaving the place dark and full of excitement, the dim traces of drummer Josh Dun and frontman Tyler Joseph walked onto stage. Joseph, dressed in his own ski mask, hopped on a beatdown automobile, while Dun, sporting a bandana and hood decorated the vehicle on fire and took his position. The duo broke into “Jumpsuit” off their 2018 release, Trench.  With the amount of energy set at a level that was top, the series just got better from there.

Joseph and Dun stuck to tradition during their collection . Throughout “Fairly Local,” the Denver crowd was led to think they watched a masked Joseph function in front of them. As the song finished, “Joseph” dropped back into a hole on the stage because the lights briskly cut out. A few seconds later, a spotlight directed toward the part of the stadium illuminated the actual Joseph. This trick is nothing fresh to their collection, as they ve finished it but this disappearing act never seems to lose its magic. The duo also finished their set with exactly the tune they’ve finished shows with — “Trees. ”

Approximately midway through the pop-rock-rap duo a long floating bridge lowered itself from the roof of the stadium and hung over the large GA floor pit filled with starstruck fans. Joseph climbed onto the bridge and walked across it, causing him into a stage set up on the opposite end of the stadium throughout “Nico And The Niners. ” After Dun joined his longtime friend on the opposite stage, a gorgeous curtain filled with icicle-like lights that moved up and down into mesmerizing patterns.
