Nolan Arenado, leading Rockies in updated All-Star Game voting, claims top spot at hot corner

Nolan Arenado is seeking to get to the All-Star Game for the fourth time in his profession. Arenado, the six-time Gold Glove winner for the Rockies, is leading the way among National League third basemen.

Major League Baseball, that released updated balloting amounts for the 2019 Mid-summer Classic, has Arenado sitting at 783,684 votes. The closest player to Arenado is Cubs’ Kris Bryant with all 404,855 votes.

As for the other Rockies players who have shown up on ballots, Tony Wolters is at seventh for catchers with 96,117 votes, Trevor Story fourth for shortstops with all 243,550 votes and Charlie Blackmon is your lone outfielder for Colorado, sitting in sixth with 278,070 votes.

There’s still lots of time to vote for your favorite player as “The Primary” retirement period finishes on June 21. Ballots may be cast online at MLB.com.
