If you use Lyft or Uber a big change starts this week at Pepsi Center

DENVER — Fans using ride sharing services, such as Lyft or Uber, can expect some huge changes re picked up from Pepsi Center.

Starting on Tuesday, Pepsi Center can create a fresh post-event ride sharing area from its “Toyota Tundra Parking Lot. ” It will be the exact same for many entertainment and sporting events in the arena with drivers allowed to wait Chopper Circle.

Road closing barriers will be set along Chopper Circle between roads about halfway through each event. You may see the changes in traffic circulation in the map below.

“KSE’s priority is the security of our lovers,” stated KSE’s SVP of Venue Operations Dave Jolette stated in a statement. “With the rise of ride share usage by our lovers, an organized place that could handle the volume of customers is vital to providing a safe pick up system that will improve the overall fan experience in Pepsi Center. ”

According to KSE, the road closures and the new ride share pickup area will start at the onset of the second phase for Avalanche matches, even when the principal action takes the stage in concerts, and at halftime for Nuggets and Mammoth games.
