Are the Rolling Stones coming to Denver’s Mile High Stadium? Sign(s) point to yes.

A giant red tongue is dangling from the side of Bronco’s Stadium at Mile High.

The sign of famed rock band The Rolling Stones was spotted yesterday, and fast sprouted speculation that the group could make an appearance in Denver for the first time in nearly 13 years.

The last time tunes like “Satisfaction” along with “Honky Tonk Woman” rang through town was in late November 2005 at the Pepsi Center. The band has been touring internationally since and completed using the Super Bowl Halftime series in 2006, it simply hasn’t ceased in Denver again.

Fans were quick to leap on social websites to share their excitement.
