Avs get shut out for first time this season with loss to Coyotes

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Darcy Kuemper stopped 33 shots in his first shutout of the year, Phil Kessel needed a goal and an assist and Conor Garland believed his team-high seventh goal since the Arizona Coyotes defeat the Colorado Avalanche 3-0 Saturday night. Christian Dvorak also scored for Arizona, which dealt Colorado its fourth consecutive loss.

Avalanche falls to Stars 2-1 to finish a disappointing homestand 0-2-1

Avalanche trainer Jared Bednar smashed his team after yet another performance in the home.
