Time is flying through this past month as we enter the second to a week of February. Although time may be passing quicker than we need it to, the Denver concert scene is still as busy as ever. Monday, February 18
Recommended: Sharon Van Etten w/ Nilüfer Yanya Shows The Gothic Theatre
To kick this week in concerts away, singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten is headed to the Mile High City to take over The Gothic Theatre in Englewood. Etten’s voice is soulful and powerful which matches her music’s fashion. Just last month, Etten celebrated the release of her most recent record Remind Me Tomorrow, including songs like “I Told You Everything” and “No One’so Easy to Love” you ought to have a look at if you ever ’re not familiar with her job. Fellow artist Nilüfer Yanya is about the invoice for the evening as well.

Recommended: Poppy w/ YaSi Shows The Gothic Theatre
Should you’re trying to find an outrageous event to observe this week, we’ve got you covered. On Tuesday night, the YouTube sensation Called Poppy is headed to The Gothic Theatre. Poppy appears to have two personas — a YouTube personality and a musician. Although her YouTube videos onto her primary channel are about the odd side, her music is so catchy and has a great groove. Colorado’s own rising artist YaSi is about the invoice for the evening also making this a great blend of gift. Should you’re trying to find a few classic country-folk music this week, this will be the series to test out. On Wednesday night, country-folk artist Corb Lund is carrying over The Bluebird. Lund’s audio has elements of classic country songs combined with some folk. Lund’s career started back in 2005 with the release of the debut album Hair In My Eyes Like A Highland Steer and lasted throughout the next decade. Fellow artist Branson Anderson is currently joining Lund in The Bluebird that Wednesday too.

On Thursday night, EDM artist Boombox Cartel is headed to Denver to take over The Ogden Theatre. Boombox Cartel’s audio covers genres like hip-hop, snare and EDM. Not only do all these genres move together, but also Boombox Cartel places them . Should you’re unfamiliar with this artist, check out “Whisper” or even “Moon Love” to get you started.
