Western Swing supergroup the Ten Men Without Chiseled Cheekbones has made up for any lack of youth with 500 combined years of music-making experience, becoming Nashville’s hot ticket on Monday nights since 1998 at Station Inn (and later 3rd and Lindsley).
Reba McEntire, Bonnie Raitt & Norah Jones were frequent visitors. Unfortunately, in 2014 the band suffered the tragic loss of singer/fiddle player Dawn Sears who played an integral part.
About The Band
The Time Jumpers were a house band of Nashville studio musicians that first started jamming together in 1998 and held down their residency every Monday evening at Station Inn (and later 3rd & Lindsley). Country star Vince Gill joined in 2010, turning these shows into events with numerous famous guests such as Norah Jones, Reba McEntire, Jools Holland and Kings Of Leon making appearances (among many more!).
The 10-man group’s 500 combined years of musical experience onstage and in the studio are what keeps this band running smoothly, along with their unwavering devotion to outmoded, oldfangled forms of music such as Western swing.
Ranger Doug Green performs on acoustic rhythm guitar, Brad Albin on upright bass, pedal steel guitarist Paul Franklin plays pedal steel guitar while fiddlers Larry Franklin and Joe Spivey both offer fiddle.
