Red Rocks in Denver offers the perfect setting to experience an unforgettable summer night, with an eclectic lineup of live shows featuring local artists spanning multiple genres. Unfortunately, seating can sometimes become limited so be prepared for crowds to form as seats cannot accommodate everyone!
If you’re attending a concert, it is advisable to arrive early and bring in food and drinks of your own, as the venue‘s vendors tend to be pricey and unsatisfactory. Many music fans also like hanging out in the massive parking lot before an event begins for conversation and beverages with fellow concert goers.
On my Red Rocks pilgrimage, Joe Bonamassa and his band offered up an unforgettable performance of original material as well as Led Zeppelin covers. There was much anticipation among ticket holders as many were hoping to hear Gov’t Mule frontman Warren Haynes join Bonamassa for an electrifying rendition of “Stairway to Heaven”, and it proved worthwhile when Haynes made an incredible cover performance! Red Rocks was an incredible evening, full of stunning light shows and magical atmosphere. A visit to Red Rocks always seems worth my while and I can’t wait to visit again in the future – its scenery and energy from its crowd are truly unparalleled; making Red Rocks an amazing venue that brings people together while leaving lasting memories behind of a fantastic concert experience.
