DENVER — A Portland, Oregon teenager is visiting Denver to meet members of his favorite sports teams.

Martin Howe, 18, has Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. He was recently released from the hospital after doctors said they did not think they could do anything else to help, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Howe is estimated to have about three weeks to live.

When folks in Denver heard Howe is a huge Broncos fan, they made things happen for the adolescent. Howe got a call form Peyton Manning himself over the weekend.

On Monday, Howe and his family flew to Denver to see the city and experience unforgettable moments.

Tuesday night, Howe and his family got the VIP treatment at the Pepsi Center. Howe got to meet a few of the players, get a behind-the-scenes look of the stadium and got to sit courtside.

Howe will find a tour of the Broncos’ Dove Valley facility after this week .

Howe’s nickname is Nitty. His family and friends use #NittyStrong to reference the movement his attitude has started. On the household ’s GoFund Me webpage, they explain #NittyStrong is supposed to  remind everyone to face their fears or daily challenges head-on with a positive attitude, just like Nitty would do.
