Nuggets Insider: Michael Malone and Denver’s impending minutes crunch

When it wasn’t readily clear a few weeks ago, it’s jumping-off-the-screen clear now — Malik Beasley is legit.

Monte Morris isn’t too bad . Or Torrey Craig. Or Trey Lyles. Or Juan Hernangomez. Or.

The Nuggets are filled, and we may not even understand it when it wasn ’ t for the injuries suffered during the first half of the year. But here we are 53 games into the regular season, the Nugs are next in the Western Conference plus they’ve a roster as deep as some from the Association.

Unfortunately, there’s just 240 moments to go about in an NBA game. With 12 guys who officially deserve playing — 13 in case you count Isaiah Thomas — head coach Michael Malone will have some tough decisions to make after everyone is healthy. Especially when the playoffs roll up and rotations inevitably shrink.

Thomas will be suiting up soon (though we don’t understand when). Gary Harris along with Jamal Murray will soon be fully cured before you know it.

But does Malone actually need to lose Beasley’s moments right now given how he’s enjoying ? Or Morris’ for this matter? And who would like to limit Craig’s defensive impact on the match?

So that the question is: How is Malone currently likely to keep all those players happy?

A excellent problem to have, but a problem.
