Former First Lady Michelle Obama is drawing closer to the launch of her new memoir, Becoming. In anticipation, she’s declared a book tour that will take her to arenas all over the US. Yes, FLOTUS is playing arenas.

The tour officially kicks off from her hometown of Chicago on precisely the same day Becoming strikes shelves — November 13th. Along with the Windy City, the itinerary includes stops at Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New York, and Dallas.

With the support of a slew of moderators (who’ve yet to be announced), Obama will reveal onto her memoir, that outlines the arc of her life, both private and personal — from growing up from the South Side of Chicago to existence at The White House. She could even dish on her husband’s several songs friends, for example Beyoncé, Chance that the Rapper, JAY-Z.

“This autumn, I’d prefer to discuss that fuller story in my book tour together with all of you,” Obama said in a declaration. “It& # rsquo;s the story of my lumps, my victories, my humdrum plainness, my ordinary hopes and anxieties. It’s the story of who I am, really, and I’m glad of it — blemishes and all. ”

She added, “I trust this tour may inspire others to reflect upon and discuss their own stories — all of the joys and sorrows, all of the scars and renewals — so together, we can better recognize that each of us, in our own way, will be in a constant process of becoming. ”
