DENVER (KDVR) — In a press conference Tuesday afternoon, Governor Jared Polis declared the closing of pubs for in-person company, but they are able to continue to market alcohol to-go.

Bars that currently serve serve and food can stay open under the rules of distancing, seating guests using their celebration and not permitting mingling. 

This closure can probably go into effect over the next 48 hours and is in place for 30 days, unless a county/region qualifies to enter the Protect Our Neighbor stage.

“There isn’t a manner that we’ve discovered to these (bars/nightclubs) to be a reasonably secure part of individuals ’s resides throughout the month of July within our state,” Polis stated. “That doesn’t mean that there won’t be any pubs or nightclubs in July. ”

The governor declared the reopening of bars at 25 percent capacity or up to 50 people two weeks back.

Polis said the uptick one of the younger market is attributable to nightclubs and pubs, as well as parties, big gatherings and protests. Those are factors that he believed when making his decision, he explained.
