Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon (29) ...Andy Cross, The Denver PostColorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon (29) along with Anaheim Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf (15) jawing at each other before a face-off in the initial stage at the Pepsi Center on March 4, 2020.

The NHL on Tuesday announced in case the season resumes, it will forego the remainder of the normal season to get a 24-team playoff. What does the playoffs mean for the Avalanche?

It’s a fairly brilliant perspective for Colorado and summer baseball, based on oddsmaker betonline.ag.

The Avs are tied for the greatest odds (15-to-4) with all the Vegas Golden Knights to win against the Western Conference. To acquire the Stanley Cup, Colorado has 13/2 odds, tied for No. 1 together with the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning.

In the base of the list would be the Chicago Blackhawks, who have 60/1 odds to win against the West and also 125/1 to acquire all of it.

The playoffs would begin, at the first, in the first half of July.
