The Lowdown: Denver Museum of Nature & Science partners using an Indigenous Film & Arts Festival to present a screening of La Selva Negra. The film — that translates to The Modern Jungle — has been created by co-directors Saul Kak (Zoque) and Charles Fairbanks and includes documentation of a little Zoque village in Mexico that changes over the years due to capitalism and external forces. Following the screening, you can take part in a Q&A using co-director Charles Fairbanks.
