Heart are coming to the road this summer to get their first North American outing in three years. The “Love Alive Tour”, named after Heart’s 1977 Little Queen monitor, will also include an abysmal lineup of guest walkers in Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, 2019 Grammys celebrity Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Elle King, and Lucie Silvas.
The tour starts July 9th at St. Louis and runs all the way until September 9th, as it wraps up in Hollywood. The massive itinerary includes stops in Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Camden, Cleveland, and Detroit. Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson will also be headed to Nashville, Charlotte, Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles.
Speaking on the excursion ’s title, Ann remarked in a declaration, “‘Love Alive’ is a tune and a sentiment that goes back a long way with us. It goes ahead also. It is a universal, positive and hopeful vibe as we believe that this tour will be. ”
As for their talented tour mates, Nancy said the lineup feels especially important given the current state of the planet today. “I think this year is a great year to demonstrate some strong women’s effect in songs,” she clarified. “We would normally steer clear of this female-centric concept, however in the light of current events it feels like the right statement at the right time. ” (The Grammys would probably concur, eventually.)
