It’s enjoy taking a look at headlines by the 2013 Colorado high school football season. A trio of neighborhood running springs are making waves this year — and the NFL is taking notice.
Dolphins’ Kalen Ballage, Broncos’ Phillip Lindsay and also Panthers’ Christian McCaffrey are making waves this year and also the NFL is taking notice of the three running backs.
Ballage — who went on Falcon High School — had a breakout game against the Vikings on Sunday, becoming 12 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown. Together with Frank Gore like out for the remainder of the calendar year, the newcomer will have an opportunity to shine to the field these last two months.
Former Valor Christian celebrity McCaffrey has been 21 yards away from hitting the 1,000-yards-rushing markers, and he has 94 catches for 768 yards. Despite these Pro Bowl-worthy numbers, he is a second alternative to produce the team.
Along with Lindsey, a Denver South product, made history by becoming the first undrafted offensive newcomer to be named to the Pro Bowl team. Over the season, he has taken the ball 182 days for 991 yards and eight touchdowns.
