Enjoy ’em!!!

Her day got us believing, too: instead of wishing her happy birthday like usual, why don’t you reminisce about her incredible career, also?!

So without further ado… here would be her ten music movies EVER! At least, according to us, this really is! Ch-ch-check from the list (below) and tell us whether you agree with our rankings, Perezcious subscribers!!!

1. Express Yourself, 1989

Express Yourself marked Madonna’s video collab with David Fincher, who also directed Fight Club and The Social Network. At $5 millionthis is actually the most expensive video EVER made (at the time, at least), plus it heavily drew on the classic 1927 film Metropolis for its own inspiration.  Rolling Stone called Express Yourself “an ideal melding of both Fincher’s expressionist impulses and Madonna’s allure. ” Fun!

2. Like A Prayer, 1989

The tune was enough by itself, but a music video with burning crosses, stigmata, and a saint’s icon coming to life and finally succumbing to the pleasures of the flesh was just too hot to handle some! The music video for Like A Prayer caused a commotion at that Pepsi really pulled on a $5 million ad campaign that was put to center about the tune itself. Oh, well! Like Madonna herself said at the time, “artwork ought to be contentious, and that’s all there’s to it. ”

3. Ray Of Light, 1998

Music video director Jonas Åkerlund known as this “the greatest shoot for a movie video,” remembering a complex diagram used for the entire creation — every shot was “like, such a large deal” with each framework lasting ten minutes or so, and being taken outside at 30 minute increments to get about 5 minutes of material for the last item. It worked out since Ray of Light became the Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards that go-round, giving Madge and her director here a hit!

4. Vogue, 1990

Come , you believed we forget that video, which brought an dancing from the club scene that was gay and then pushed mainstream?! Madonna teamed back up with Fincher for this one, though this time around both produced the video day after the recording company announced they had been rush-releasing the accompanying single. Fincher remembers, “we cut that thing. We took the video in, for example. She got on the airplane and went on her world tour. ” Wow!

5. Like A Virgin, 1984

It didn’t have the $5 million budget of some later music movies, but a healthier six-figure line using a trip to Venice and some quality time with a huge cat (what might Carole Baskin say?!) Brought Madonna to the forefront here. Director Mary Lambert led the way on her second collab with Madge, which makes for a memorable if innocently-80s stylized video to go alongside an unforgettable tune for the entire (adult) world to relish.

Bonus! Substance Girl, 1985

Lambert’another collaboration with Madonna came with the homage to Marilyn Monroe‘s 1953 movie. This video has spawned its own set of homages and references in today’s day Taylor Swift‘s memorable performance of Shake It Off at the 2014 VMAs is one especially notable illustration of Madonna’s influence and long-time hit!

Well there you have it! What U consider our list — did we leave anything out? Can you’ve added anything
