Monet X Change Talks About Her Jam-Packed 2019: All Stars 4, DragCons, Cardi B Pepsi Super Bowl Ad

On the latest episode of Werq The World: The Docu-Series year two, Monet X Change opened about her quick transition out of RuPaul’s Drag Race year 10 to All Stars 4. In an interview by Screen Rant, Monet reflected on her plump 2019, which entailed winning All Stars 4 along with travel across the world using the Werq The World Tour. Additionally, it contained endeavors and several other accomplishments that the queen is remembered for.

Many fans remember 2019 as the year after Monet X Change won RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 alongside Trinity The Tuck. In 2019 alone, Monet hosted the Monet Xposé digital series, recorded weekly episodes to the Sibling Rivalry podcast using Bob the Drag Queen, served as inspiration for a Marvel superhero called Shade and published her EP. In addition, she was featured in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial alongside Cardi B. She also traveled the world with the Werq The World Tour, launched her The X Change Rate chat series, attended most the DragCon LA and NYC events, and appeared twice on The View. As if that weren’t enough, she was showcased in a feature distributed in New York Magazine.  Monet still found time to picture her appearances as a Lip Sync Assassin in All Stars 5 and a coach on RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race, both of which aired at 2020.

During the queen’s showcased episode on Werq The World: The Docu-Series year two, Monet X Change revealed that she got the invitation to get All Stars 4 one episode after her removal by RuPaul’s Drag Race year 10. During an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Monet confessed that most RuPaul’s Drag Race queens work extremely hard, but admitted that 2019 was particularly”hectic” for her:”In the moment, it seems unbearable and it seems impossible.”  More especially, Monet pointed out the pressures that Drag Race fans set the queens beneath:”What’s tricky about these things is that you need to have a new look, and [it has to be] a custom look, and you have to get all of those things made. [Everyone tells you that] you have to do this, yada yada. So I kind of [have to] prioritize all those things [for myself]:’What’s important, what should move first, what should go ‘ It’s really, really, really hard.”  In the clip below, from Werq The World: The Docu-Series year two, you can watch Monet talking about her journey from Drag Race year 10 straight into All Stars 4.

Nonetheless, Monet X Change is also quick to point out that there are many advantages to working this difficult and becoming a component of this Drag Race franchise along with other ventures:”When you get to reap the benefits of seeing these things on TV, and seeing all of these projects and commercials… Then, it all pays off.”  Monet credits her team with encouraging her endeavors and maintaining her classmates.

Fans may not realize just how much work goes into each of those jobs, but it is safe to state that the achievement of Monet X Change is the direct result of a good deal of dedication. Now that the entire world is facing the COVID-19 outbreak and drag entertainers have been unable to earn money for months, Monet is also reaping the advantages of producing podcasts and shows that she can keep recording from home… and emerging on multiple TV show that she had already filmed.  It is ideal to get RuPaul’s Drag Race lovers .
