Colorado Sports Betting Laws in 2020
Since the US Supreme Court overturned PASPA in 2018, many states have been trying to kickstart some kind of regulated sports betting industry.
A legislative bill – Proposition DD – was passed in May 2019. It gave powers to the Colorado Division of Gaming and the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission to oversee the regulation of sports betting in the state.
Colorado sportsbooks went live on May 1 with four online sites. There are over a dozen other operators waiting to launch their own sports betting apps.
