Member of Nuggets organization tests positive for COVID-19, team announces

The Denver Nuggets announced that a part of the company tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

A Nuggets spokesperson wouldn’t say if the person was a player or not.  As of Thursday, otherwise, player or no one at the organization planned to have tested, unless symptoms were sensed by them, according to a source.

The person was tested March 16 also is currently being cared for by the group ’s medical staff and is currently in self-isolation,” according to a news release by the team.

“The testing has been undertaken following guidance from state health officials and team physicians,” the release said.

The team didn’t procure the test though means, according to a league source.

Ahead of Thursday, seven NBA players had tested positive such as Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Kevin Durant.  The Nuggets&rsquo match was in Dallas last Wednesday. The team immediately sailed home to Denver that night.
