Together with the Colorado state wrestling tournament just wrapped up last weekend, it seems fitting that a yearlong winner is set to guard his UFC belt in the octagon.

Henry Cejudo — who won titles in Coronado High School before going on to claim Olympic gold in 2008 — will defend his bantamweight belt contrary to Brazilian celebrity Jose Aldo in UFC 250, based on ESPN. The bout will take place on May 9 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Cejudo, 33, is on a five-fight winning series. He even won the bantamweight title after beating Marlon Moraes in June. Aldo, 33, is a two-time featherweight champion and holds that the promotion ’ s list for successive and most powerful title defenses. He left his bantamweight debut in December, losing a split decision to Moraes.
