Rascal Flatts, STS9, Bauhaus, Korn and more upcoming Colorado concerts

Having tucked plenty of sold-out runs in Red Rocks Amphitheatre under its belt, STS9 has been coming back with a double-headlining run there July 24-25, preceded by a smaller show in Denver’s Summit Music Hall July 23. Openers for Red Rocks include Shpongle (Simon Posford live place ), Mize, Tycho (DJ set) and Chrome Sparks.  Three-day passes for overall and VIP admission are 129.50-$209, although costs for single-day tickets still haven’t been announced. They’re on sale beginning in 10 a.m. Feb. 21 through axs.com.

Korn and Faith No More will bridge among rock’s deeper generational divides in the Pepsi Center Aug. 7, together with assistance from Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway and Spotlights. Prices have not been announced, owing to promoter Live Nation’s coverage of withholding them out of media releases. They’re on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 21 in altitudetickets.com.

Seminal goth band Bauhaus is loved ones Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins and David Jay for a tour which comes with a Sept. 25 concert in Mission Ballroom. Tickets for the 16-and-up collection go on sale in 10 a.m. Feb. 21. ($85-$150, axs.com)

The 44th annual Telluride Jazz Festival will feature The Beach Boys, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Amadou & Mariam and the Blind Boys of Alabama, The Budos Band, Hot Sardines, Marco Benevento and much more when it conducts Aug. 7-9. Stop by telluridejazz.org for tickets; kids 11 and under are free. Three-day passes begin at $160 while single-day passes are $60-$70.

Dance-music producer, DJ and singer Jackson Stell, a.k.a. Big Wild, is headlining Red Rocks on Aug. 21 with Bob Moses (performing a team group ), Crooked Colours and Mild Mind. Passes are $46.50-$76 and available at 10 a.m. on Feb. 21 in axs.com.

Primus will pay homage to Rush with A Tribute to Kings Tour, which includes the bass-driven act tackling Rush’s 1977 record “A Farewell to Kings” in its entirety (along with Primus’ own music, the promoter said). Tickets for the July 14 stop at Mission Ballroom, together with likewise gymnastic openers Wolfmother and Battles, are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 21. ($60-$109.50, axs.com)

Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band will exhibit its own namesake guitarist’s ample blues-chops in Colorado Springs’ Pikes Peak Center on May 19. Pick up tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Feb. 21. ($39.50-$65, pikespeakcenter.com)
