Ozzy Osbourne Cancels 2020 North American Tour, Seeks Medical Treatments

Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his entire 2020 North American tour, that had been rescheduled from this past year. The metal legend will instead use the opportunity to seek medical care from Europe, following his latest revelation that he’s battling Parkinson’s disorder .

The cancellation comes later Ozzy had hinted that he may not be able to commit to the dates in offenses. At the Grammys red rug, he stated that he ’d only tour when he had been “well sufficient ” to select the stage.

Together with ticket-holders admits whether the North American trek went to occur, Ozzy and his staff have made the choice to ditch the tour so he wouldn’t need to cancel shows midway. In a statement, Ozzy clarified as follows:

“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient since I’ve needed a year that is shit old. Unfortunately, I won’t be in a position to access to Switzerland for therapy before April and the treatment carries.

I would like ’t need to initiate a tour and cancel shows since it s not fair to those fans. I they get a refund and when I do exactly the North American tour in the future, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to buy tickets at that moment. ”

Osbourne was originally planning to embark on this leg of his “No More Tours 2” trek in May of 2019, but scrapped those plans when he fell in the home, dislodging metal rods that was inserted into his own body years before after an ATV crash. The dates were rescheduled to start in late May of 2020, with Marilyn Manson providing support. Now, the North American summit is canceled.

Last month, Ozzy Osbourne demonstrated to Good Morning America that he had been battling Parkinson’s disorder. More recently, he advised that the Los Angeles Times that he was diagnosed with the illness back in 2003.

As of this moment, Ozzy is still advised to tour Europe with assistance from Judas Priest that autumn. That leg of the tour has already been rescheduled.

Refunds are offered at the point of purchase, and present ticket-holders will have first access to tickets if and when there is a tour announced.

Though he won’t be vacationing in the immediate future, Ozzy will release a solo album this Friday, February 21st. Even the LP, Ordinary Man, is Ozzy’s very first solo attempt in 10 years, also includes guest contributions from Elton John, Slash, Tom Morello, and Post Malone. His backing group throughout the album includes Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith.
