Boz Scaggs, Zeds Dead, Kaleo, Yo-Yo Ma and more are coming to Denver

Boz Scaggs and his renowned pipes will serenade buffs in Grand Junction (June 11 at the Amphitheatre at Las Colonias Park) and Colorado Springs (June 13 at Pikes Peak Center) that summer, with tickets for the latter on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($40-$90, axs.com)

Zeds Dead, an electronic act that takes over Red Rocks, plans to decamp into Denver’s Mission Ballroom after its second run at the Morrison amphitheater on July 2-3. Tickets for the July 4, “Deadbeats Hangover” reveal at Mission are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($40.50-$79, axs.com)

Exotic action Kaleo didn’t really sell Red Rocks Amphitheatre as it played its first headlining show there. However, promoters are encouraging the ring back for a July 21 series that will no doubt fill up fast s and Grammy-nominated successes of late. Tickets for the set, with Matt Maeson and Belle Mt., fall at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($48.50-$70, axs.com)

Legendary ’70s funk behave KC and the Sunshine Band is beaming ahead of its own Sounds of Sunshine Tour, which streams into Loveland’s Budweiser Events Center May 29. Tickets, $39.50-$85.50, are up for grabs starting at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 through budweisereventscenter.com.

Greensky Bluegrass may be counted on to package ’em at Red Rocks at minimum one time each year. This time around the dates are Sept. 18 (with opener Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real), Sept. 19 (Circles Around the Sun) and Sept. 20 (Railroad Earth). Tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 through axs.com. Single-day ($46.75-$80) and regular passes ($120) are on tap.

Classical and folk will return under the string-music banner ads when Not Our First Goat Rodeo comes to Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre Aug. 15. The series, featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bluegrass multi-instrumentalist Stuart Duncan, adaptive composer Edgar Meyer, radio host and singer-songwriter Chris Thile, and Crooked Still singer Aoife O’Donovan, is on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($39.50-$250, axs.com)

Smirking & ldquo and provocateur;Real Time” host Bill Maher is back with a July 11 series at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre. Put aside $55-$110 for the tickets before they go on sale 10 a.m. Feb. 7 on axs.com.

Grateful Dead/Louisiana fusion-cover ring Voodoo Dead features an unsurprising number of Dead-adjacent ringers, such as Steve Kimock, Jeff Chimenti, George Porter, Jr., John Morgan Kimock and more to be revealed. Tickets for the band’s April 9 concert at the Boulder Theater are $29.50 in advance and $35 that the day-of-show through bouldertheater.com.
