Avalanche gameday: Philipp Grubauer back in net against Sharks at Pepsi Center

Avalanche goalie Philipp Grubauer Is Going to Probably Be back in net Thursday from the San Jose Sharks at the Pepsi Center.

Grubauer has gone 2-5-2 in his past nine starts and has a 2.92 goals-against typical and .909 save percentage over the year. He has appeared in 27 games, such as Tuesday if Colorado blew another lead and lost 3-2 in overtime to the Dallas Stars.

The Avs’ other alternative, Pavel Francouz, has appeared in 19 games and has a 2.41 GAA and .926 SP. Francouz is 0-2-1 in his past 3 starts.
