Best of the best? A pair of Broncos — among current and one former — have been named finalists for the NFL 100 All-Time Team.

Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware were among the 25 linebackers and 33 linemen, respectively, who first made the list. At 6 Friday on the NFL Network, that list will be whittled down to 12 linebackers and 14 linemen who’ll be respected.

Miller and Ware were on the Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 winning team. Ware, a four-time first-team All-Pro, listed 138.5 sacks over the course of his career from Dallas and Denver, placing him eighth all-time. Miller, a three-time first-team All-Pro, was MVP of Super Bowl 50 and also has totaled 104 sacks in his career and second among active players, supporting Terrell Suggs.

So far, the NFL has only announced the 12 running backs who have made the team: Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, Earl Clark, Eric Dickerson, Lenny Moore, Marion Motley, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers, O.J. Simpson, Emmitt Smith and Steve Van Buren. Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett, who played his final NFL year in Denver, was a finalist.
