The Pepsi Center will soon serve its fans beverages in aluminum cups.
After from the footsteps of Folsom Field, the home of the Nuggets and Avalanche is teaming up with Ball Corporation to use the “infinitely recyclable” lightweight cups to matches and other events in the arena. The Pepsi Center is your first major professional sports arena to use the cups at a full-scale fashion, according to the press release.

The cups will debut during the Nuggets’ home opener Oct. 25 against the Phoenix Suns. CU has been using the cups during the 2019 football season at Folsom Field.
“We& & rsquo;re pleased to team up with KSE to attract sports fans at Pepsi Center a sustainable beverage cup option and grow this offering across sports places from the U.S.,” Ball chairman, president and CEO John A. Hayes said in a news release.
Ball will generate a small quantity of the cups through 2020 at a bid to promote sustainability. According to the press release, aluminum is your beverage packaging material” because of its simplicity that is recycling.
“KSE and the Pepsi Center have cautioned sustainability efforts in recent decades, which have brought improvements around limiting energy use and consumption, and improving our recycling opportunities is a natural continuation of those efforts,” president and CEO of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment Jim Martin said in a news release.
