It’s difficult to think that we are in the past week of August. Time appears to be flying this season and now also there ’s no slowing down, particularly in the context of the Denver music scene. As always, you can expect a week because there are 70 Denver concerts listed below for your benefit. On Tuesday night, we’re shooting you The Fillmore where rock artist Papa Roach will be taking more than the downtown venue. Papa Roach is known for the hard rock sound which you may understand on tracks like “Last Resort” and “Scars. ” Earlier this season, they released their most recent album Who Do You Trust?  Which includes 12 paths to get familiarized with before attending their show. On Wednesday night, WCWLive5280 is shooting over The Gothic Theatre with their series L.E.V.E.L.S. that includes some Incredible Denver established female artists like Kayla Marque, Koo Qua, Brionne Wright, Jay Triiple, Mandy Groves, Danae Simone and Mai Mai Sanai. This series has a line up, top to bottom. This night will be the perfect way to hear some fantastic music, spend an evening on the town and encourage up-and-coming talent from the Denver music scene.

On Thursday night, Weezer is headed back to Denver to take over Mission Ballroom, the city’s music venue. Weezer is accountable for anthemic hits as “Say It Ain’t So” and “Island In The Sun,” just to mention a few. In 2019, Weezer released two records, Weezer (Teal Album) which included ten covers, and Weezer (The Black Album) containing 10 originals. On Friday and Saturday night, Colorado’s GRiZ is shooting over Red Rocks once more. Both Friday and Saturday’s displays have been themed with Friday’s being a “’10-’17” series and Saturday’s being a “Ride Waves” collection, in celebration of the album of the same name. GRiZ always knows how to put on a top notch series, and we all ’re excited to see him return into the Red Rocks stage in 2019. Fellow artists Boogie T and Muzzy Bear are on Friday night’s bill also.

On Saturday night, classic rock legends Heart and Joan Jett are shooting over The Pepsi Center. Heart, led by badass frontwomen Ann and Nancy Wilson, paved the way for girls from classic rock. The band enjoyed hits for example “Baracuda” and “Crazy On You” rear in ’ 80s and the ’ 70s. Jett and her band, the Blackhearts, were in charge of hits like “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You. ” Today, the two artists are still rocking hard and you’ve got the chance to watch them in action this week combined with Elle King.

To wrap up this week in Denver concerts, Levitt Pavilion is hosting Austin-based Latin-funk ring Grupo Fantasma. Grupo Fantasma is known for their infectious groove and energy, two components which are the sign of a terrific act. If you’re not familiar with Grupo Fantasma, check out “Cumbia De Los Pajaritos” or even “The Wall” to get yourself started. Denver’s ATOMGA is also making this a great mix of national and local talent.
